Nate's Rates Electrical
A 42-page SEO website for a licensed electrician. Built from scratch in 2 weeks.
A Licensed Electrician With No Online Presence
Nate runs a domestic and commercial electrical business out of Wallsend, Newcastle. He had a domain, a Facebook page, and zero web presence beyond that.
The goal: a professional website that ranks for local search terms, builds trust before the phone call, and gives customers an easy way to request a quote.
He needed suburb-targeted pages to show up when people search "electrician Maitland" or "switchboard upgrade Cessnock." He also wanted interactive tools to set him apart: a switchboard safety quiz and a price estimator.
From first conversation to live site: 2 weeks. Including 10 suburb pages, 10 service pages, 8 blog posts, and two custom interactive tools.
Didn't really know what I needed, just knew I needed to show up on Google. Shannon just got it done - no back and forth, no dramas. Site went live and I couldn't believe how good it looked. Highly recommend.
The Full Deliverable
How It Was Built
No WordPress, no page builders, no plugins to update and break. The entire site is static HTML. Fast, secure, and there's nothing to go wrong at 2am on a Saturday.
No monthly plugin fees. No template licensing. Every line of code written specifically for Nate's business.
Every page has a unique title, meta description, canonical URL and structured data. The suburb pages target specific geographic keywords. The blog content targets the exact phrases Nate's customers search.
Not added as an afterthought. Built in from the first line of code, because that's the right way to do it.
The site architecture was planned so adding new suburb or service pages later doesn't mean a rebuild. Nate's already looking at pushing into more suburbs - that's what the Enterprise tier is designed for.
Mobile-first throughout. Every page designed and tested on a phone because that's how his customers will find him.
When someone in Cessnock searches "electrician Cessnock," Google wants to serve them a page specifically about an electrician in Cessnock. A generic homepage competes poorly against a dedicated suburb page. That's why Nate has 10 of them - one for each suburb he wants to rank in. Most people don't understand why they need these pages. Now you do.
